~My Little Meet & Greet~

Hello friends....glad you stopped by to check me out. My name is Jennifer Shank I am a Wife and Momma and have a passion for many things. Photography, Blogging, Flea-Marketing, are among the top passions. My sweet hubby and I met in 7th grade and have been falling in and out of love ever since (no really- mostly falling in love).  3 Miscarriages, heparin shots in the stomach twice a day, aspirin every day, a wonderful Doctor who told us not to loose hope while other Doctors said adopt & voila, we have two little kids that have blessed our lives more than I can put into words. We moved to the country to escape the silly little restrictions that go along with living in a community. I have adjusted to this pace of life out here by the pond and frankly adore it. We have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 ducks with ducklings on the way. I have come to realize there is something so refreshing about waking up to the sound of the fountain in the pond and the breeze blowing in the windows that has made me forget how much I hate the long drive to the mall. I love walking out the back door and fishing or throwing on my rain boots and going crawfish hunting with the kiddos at night. We moved back from Atlanta in December of 1999 and never in a million years thought you would catch me out on acreage. My wish is to one day have a quaint little cabin in the pine forest for rent, where anyone can come and fish and drink sweet tea and remember how it feels to just take it all in.
